Yoko Ono talked about her friendship with Andy and how well hetreated her son, Sean. Actually, Andy was planning to paint an annual picture of Sean throughout his life to capture his development.
Art historian, John Richardon, discussed Warhol's place in art history.
Nicolas Love, who had never met Warhol, read from Warhol's book 'The Philosophy of Andy Warhol."
Some of the artists in attendance included: Basquait, Haring, Hockney, Lichtenstein, Oldenburg, and Wyeth.
Other mourners in attendance were: Jane Holzer, Dominique de Menzil, Liza Minnelli, Don Johnson, Bianca, and fashion designers: Klein, and Halston.
Following the memorial service, attendees had lunch at the Diamond Horseshoe.
