Theory of Death

When you die
Your spirit, your soul
Is still inside
Within your body

You cannot move
Your eyes are closed forever

Not knowing what to do,
You may try to voice songs in your head,
say a prayer, and recite a poem
But after a few hours,
Boredom sets in

You then try hard to remember
Your earliest memories
And re-live your life
From beginning to end

Then, you start over again

Which is what you are doing right now.
