Describing the Truth in Words

Never say “never”
Except in this instance
And never say “all”
To refer to a supposedly universal truth

Words like “almost never”
And “most” can be defended
And if you are not sure if it is a majority
The word “many” is appropriate

Never say something is “a fact”
Because there are almost always exceptions
Like penguins and chicken
They are birds that can’t fly

One does not need
To commit verbally
Or in writing
When stating the truth
